You can get the freeview boxes that are a bit like sky+ and record the programmes you wanted to see. They cost a fair penny though about £200 and sky+ is
offered for cheap if you sign up to the subscription. It's a tough choice. You can get Premiership on Freeview with Setanta now too which is good and
you're usually in the pub on a SUnday afternoon for the other games any how.

James, I have a dish with all leads etc set up in our house (the sky was cancelled a while ago) and i'm gonna get sky+ with broadband, do i still have to
pay a £30 installation fee?

yeah unfortunately mate you do as your box has to be "installed" by a qualified engineer otherwise you don't have a warranty. I'm still doing the sky plus for Free as its been extended till the 26th of June, so if you need any advice or help give me a PM or ring.

sky is shite if u dont have sky+ waste of money coz u arent around enough to get any value from it but with sky + u can flick thru the listings and record
everything u want from the weeks listings and when u get an evening in just watch everything ,. we had it here and it was great

i'm paying more for my internet at the minute than the price of the SKY+ & SKY internet package.
I've requested my MAC code from zen, whats the modem like that is provided from SKY? is it wireless? & can I use my own if I want?
