Yes. Well mine worked anyway, I'm with Ulster Bank. I've noticed that when I use it for Chip & Pin it asks me to choose between Maestro UK &
Maestro at the beginning.

you sure can - best let your bank know where you're going so they don't block your card for fraud prevention.
Some shops won't accept it but you'll be fine at ATM Machines
